Still We Rise!

Please join us for our first Pop-Up Concert at The Backroom (1984 Bonita Ave) on March 16th, 2024 at 3 pm (PST) featuring musical performances by Gamelan Sekar Jaya, Rubina Mazurka, and concert organizers from Summer at The Hidden Cafe. 

“Still We Rise!” is a concert featuring women composers from the late 19th century until present day as well as a gender wayang quartet from Gamelan Sekar Jaya. The concept for this program is to redefine the traditional chamber music concert by programming both unconventional and underrepresented works. Both Classical music lovers and new listeners alike are encouraged to join us! 

Tickets are $10 and there will be light refreshments included with your entrance fee. Online ticket are available!
